Cathie Pilkington will reflect upon the ways in which her work challenges our ideas about the female body. She will discuss her practice of “making things from stuff”. While her early work focused on the affectionate, complex and critical experience of modelling, carving, casting, stitching, painting, accumulating and arranging objects.
