The Growing Edge: Preschooler Mental Health Symposium

The Growing Edge: Pre-schooler Mental Health & Wellbeing: This 1-day symposium will bring together national and international experts to explore the mental health and wellbeing of pre-schoolers. In the early years the opportunities for effective interventions are enormous and can alter developmental trajectories for the better. Recent Australian and international research will be presented supporting this longitudinal perspective. Inter-generational perspectives will also be addressed, including the impact of anxiety on families. National implementation of the Healthy Kids Check (3-year old social & emotional wellbeing) will be discussed by an expert panel to examine potential benefits and possible shortcomings.
