Turning the Tide’, the theme of our 2012 conference, reflects the challenging agenda facing leaders in all areas of health and social care in Northern Ireland. HSCNI has undergone radical change in relatively recent times through the Review of Public Administration process. Leaders have emerged to assume roles with considerable spans of control, challenging targets for performance and budgets and an ever increasing focus on accountability.
