International Day of the Midwife

5.5.16 is the international day of the Midwife . An opportunity to celebrate midwifery across the world in order to unite midwives . It is a positive day to share best practice around how we care for women , families and babies as well as how midwives care for themselves and for one another in the workplace - whether that is working in the community, a birth centre or in a hospital.
