A national alliance has been formed to combat elder abuse. Called the SPRiNG Alliance, this is the first time that a group of elder abuse prevention leaders from around the country have come together in one voice to advocate awareness for elder abuse. The Hebrew Home’s Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Center for Elder Abuse Prevention has spearheaded this initiative and is bringing together shelters who have replicated our successful model in Maryland, Ohio, New York, Colorado, Tennessee, Connecticut and Minnesota.
